Sherri Coale
- Coale is the Head coach of the University of Oklahoma women’s basketball team. She tookover a program that went 15-18 the year before she arrived in 1996 and brought it into the national spotlight in 2002 when her team went to the National Championship game • She has guided Oklahoma to a record of 442-217 in 20 years
- Coale has taken her teams to 17 consecutive NCAA Tournaments including 9 Sweet 16 appearances and 3 Final Four appearances
- Her teams have won 6 Big 12 regular season championship and 4 Big 12 tournament championships
- Coale is a four-time Big 12 Coach of the Year
- She has coached 6 players named Big 12 Player of the Year, 4 players named 1st team All-American, and 14 players selected in the WNBA draft
- At the high school level, Coale guided Norman High School to two Class 6A state championships
- Coale was named 1993 Region, All-State and Big All-City High School Coach of the Year
- As head coach of USA Basketball, Coale guided US Basketball to the 2013 World University Game gold medal
- From 2005-2008, she served on USA Basketball Women’s Collegiate Committee
