The Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame (Hall of Fame Management, Inc.) is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. As an independent free-standing museum, the WBHOF relies on charitable support to fulfill our mission.
Thank you for considering a gift to support our efforts in honoring, celebrating and promoting women’s basketball. As a museum, we are the keepers of the game for the women’s basketball story. We recognize all levels of achievement in women’s basketball- players, coaches, officials, contributors and veterans of the game on the national and international stage.
The WBHOF relies on members, corporate and private funding to support our vision through our youth education programs, community outreach and preserving the history of women’s basketball.

Champion for the Future
The Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame’s Champion for the Future campaign is for donation greater than $5,000 to help support the Hall’s mission. A big thank you to Tara VanDerveer, Class of 2002 for her donation of $50,000 to the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame to kick off the campaign at the hall. This donation was made in memory of Coach Nancy Darsch for her friendship, commitment, and accomplishments in women’s basketball. Coach VanDerveer is wanting other coaches to step up and be champions for the future of the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame. Athlete Members received free admission into the Hall of Fame for a year for one person, 10% discount in gift shop, WBHOF newsletter, and WBHOF member decal.
Team Members received free admission into the Hall of Fame for a year for two adults and two youth, 10% discount in gift shop, WBHOF newsletter, and WBHOF member decal.
Purchase a Brick
The courtyard outside of the Pat Summitt Rotunda of the Hall of Fame, shaped like a basketball, is comprised of numerous bricks with personalized inscriptions. Many of the bricks are engraved to honor guests, inductees, and a host of others who have chosen to leave their legacy at the Hall of Fame. Will / Living Trust
Defer a gift to the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame until after your passing. Work with your attorney to add a gift in your will or living trust detailing your donation to the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame upon your passing.
Donor Advised Fund
Simplify your charitable giving. Open a Donor Advised Fund (DAF) with a written agreement at a community foundation or sponsoring organization. Contribute cash or assets anytime to be invested by that organization, which promote regular accounting to you. You may then recommend that various amount be distributed to the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame.
Charitable Lead Annuity Trust
Proved a revenue stream to the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame. You transfer securities or another appreciating property into a charitable lead trust. The trust pays a fixed amount each year to the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame for a lifetime or term of years. The balance then passes to your heirs.
Charitable Remainder Annuity Trust
Supplement your own retirement income or that of someone else. Transfer cash, securities or other appreciated property into a charitable remainder trust. The trust pays a fixed amount each year to you or another beneficiary. If you choose for a lifetime or a term up to 20 years. When the term is up the balance goes to the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame.
Gifts of Assets
Make a gift now and receive benefits. Give stock or securities that have increased in value to the WBHOF. Real Estate- donate the proceeds of the sale of your residence, farm or commercial property.
Beneficiary Designation
Maintain control of your assets during your lifetime. Designate the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame as beneficiary of a percentage or your retirement plan, savings or brokerage account or life insurance policy. Work with your accountant and/or attorney to designate the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame as a beneficiary.
