Note from WBHOF President

It is December and that means the end of another year at the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame. We celebrated an incredible class of Inductees in August and an outstanding ceremony televised on ESPNU. What a thrill it was to see our WBHOF family back together in person!

Throughout the spring we were a part of multiple basketball tournaments happening in the area and welcomed young players into the hall to share the women’s basketball story. In the fall we experienced an increase in events and hope the new year will bring more youth programming back to the hall.

We have learned to adapt quickly to our changing environment and appreciate our supports, inductees, and board members for their support.

As a team we head into the new year looking forward to the Women’s Final Four in Minneapolis, the Ladies Ball Finals in Knoxville, and the announcement of our WBHOF Finalist in January and the Class of 2022 Inductees announcement in February. Mark your calendar for June 11 as we will recognize our 22nd Class of inductees in Knoxville.

If you have not had the opportunity to support the Hall this year, remember that all donations to the WBHOF are tax-deductible (as allowed by law) you can donate in honor or memory of a friend, teammate, or coach. We also have a gift shop full of great holiday items, bricks, and memberships. If you are out of ideas and no time to shop, we can help you out with a WBHOF gift card.

We wish you a happy holiday and an amazing new year!

2022 will be a wonderful year for all and we look forward to celebrating more successes with you in the new year!

Sincerely,

Dana Hart
WBHOF President
