- #3 pick in the WNBA draft to the Indiana Fever (2001)
- WNBA Champion and named as the Finals MVP (2012)
- 7x All-WNBA First Team (2002,2003, 2005-2007, 2009, 2011, 2013-2015) and a 5x All-WNBA Second Team (2004, 2005, 2007, 2013, 2015)

Tara Heiss
- A relative fixture at the point guard position on USA basketball teams in 1979 and 1980
- Was a member of the 1980 U.S. Olympic Team, which boycotted the Moscow Olympic Games
- Also played on USA teams that competed in the R. William Jones Cup, World Championship, Pan American Games, and World University Games in 1979, garnering three gold medals and one silver medal
- Was selected as the Most Popular Player at the 1979 World Championship
- Helped the University of Maryland reach the championship game of the AIAW Final Four in 1978
- Was tabbed as the Most Valuable Player of the 1978 Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament, leading Maryland to the championship title in the first-ever ACC tourney
- Her No. 44 collegiate jersey was retired and now hangs in the rafters of Cole Field House

Tara VanDerveer
- Guided Stanford University to a pair of NCAA national championship titles in 1990 and 1992
- Took a year’s sabbatical from Stanford to direct the U.S. National Team to a 52-0 worksheet in pre-Olympic competition as well as an 8-0 mark in the Olympics en route to winning the 1996 Olympic gold medal for women’s basketball in Atlanta
- Other international experience includes leading the United States to gold medals in the 1991 World University Games and 1994 Goodwill Games and a bronze medal at the 1994 World Championships
- Record for 22 seasons on the collegiate level stands at 548-156, including stints at the University of Idaho and Ohio State University
- Tabbed as National Coach of the Year by the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association in 1989 and as the Naismith Coach of the Year in 1990
- Has also been recognized as Coach of the Year by both the Big Ten (1984 and 1985) and Pac-10 (1989, 1990, 1995 and 2002) conferences
- Has won 10 Pac-10 conference titles in 15 seasons at Stanford

Teresa Edwards
- The most decorated player in the history of USA basketball (four gold medals and one bronze) and the only American basketball player, male or female, to compete in five Olympics
- The youngest (1984) and the oldest (2000) U.S. Olympic basketball player to win a gold medal
- Played at University of Georgia where she led her team to two final four appearances, three SEC titles and was selected three times in a row for All-SEC First Team Honors
- Inducted into University of Georgia’s “ Circle of Honor” in 1996 and had her college jersey retired by head coach Andy Landers
- Named the USA Basketball Female Athlete of the Year a record four times
- Also a member of the Olympic Hall of Fame, Cairo Hall of Fame, Georgia Hall of Fame and the National High School Hall of Fame.
- Spent nine seasons playing internationally in Itay, Japan, Spain and France
