Bill F. Tipps
- Tipps served as a member of the USA Women’s Basketball Games committee From 1988-1996, he was a member of Staff Selection Sub-Committee of USA Basketball
- From 1979-1991, Tipps served as the Chairman of AAU Girls Basketball
- Tipps was a tournament director for 75 AAU Girls Basketball National Tournaments and assisted in at least 40 other AAU National Tournaments
- He was also the tournament director for countless Southeastern and Tennessee AAU Girls Basketball Tournaments
- Tipps was a volunteer with AAU Girls Basketball for 36 years and was inducted into the AAU Volunteer Hall of Fame in 2001
- He was a 1987 President’s National Leadership Award honoree
- Tipps has received multiple awards including the 1984 Sears Award, the 1981 Cartwright Award and the 1957 Spark Plug Award.
- In 1989, the bookstore at Motlow College was named in his honor

Jackie Stiles
- Stiles is the all-time leading scorer in Division I women’s basketball with 3,393 points.
- She became the first and only Division I women’s basketball player to score more than 1,000 points in a single season
- Stiles was named a 2001 Kodak All-American and received the 2001 Wade Trophy award
- She was a four-time Missouri Valley Conference 1st team selection and three-time Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year
- In 2000, Stiles scored 56 points, which stands as fourth highest number of points in a single Division I game
- Stiles was the 2001 Honda Awards program Player of the Year
- She was selected fourth overall in the 2001 WNBA draft, en route to being named 2001 WNBA Rookie of the Year and 2001 WNBA All-Star
- In high school, Stiles was named a WBCA All-American and the MVP of the WBCA High School All-American game

Joe Lombard
- As a high school head coach, Lombard has compile a 1261-117 record in 38 years • He won 1,000 games before losing 100 games
- Lombard has led Nazareth and Canyon High Schools to 18 State Championships
- In his first year of coaching at Nazareth High School, he guided his team to the State title
- Lombard was named the 2003 USA Today Coach of the Year, the 2003 WBCA National High School Coach of the Year, and the 2011 Max Preps National Coach of the Year
- Over 100 of his high school players have received college scholarships
- Lombard received the 2015 Morgan Wooten Special Achievement Award from Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame
- Lombard was the recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Award Harley Redin Coach Award from Wayland Baptist University
